- Public Notice: Road Closure at the Intersection of Longbridge Rd. and Monroe Rd
- Attention Residents and Commuters,
- Please be advised that there will be a road closure at the intersection of Longbridge Rd. and Monroe Rd. commencing on Monday, April 15, 2024. During this period, traffic will be restricted from making left or right turns from Longbridge Rd. Additionally, access to travel west on Monroe Rd. into Pentwater will be unavailable. This closure has been initiated at the request of DTE as part of their gas line project. The purpose of the closure is to facilitate the replacement of a Muller at the Longbridge and Monroe intersection. Furthermore, it is required by Federal Regulation to cut and reconnect the steel pipe on Longbridge to integrate with the new Muller.

- Start Date: Monday, April 15th
- Expected Duration: The intersection closure is anticipated to last for 4 weeks.
- Completion: The project is scheduled to be finished before Memorial Weekend.

- The Township City Committee has completed hosting of two Public Question & Answer Sessions to discuss Potential Impacts on Pentwater Township and its remaining residents should Pentwater Village vote to split from the Township and incorporate as a city. The first meeting reviewed results from analysis performed by an independent research organization. The second meeting focused more directly on the impacts to the township should the village divest itself from the township, and how taxes are currently assessed, collected, dispersed, and utilized. ATTENTION PENTWATER TOWNSHIP TAXPAYERS
Yearly, after March 1st, the Pentwater Township Treasurer's Office is not able to collect any tax payments. Taxes for any prior tax years must be paid to the Oceana County Treasurers Office. Please contact them at (231) 873-3980 for an amount due including penalty and interest.
Property taxes can be paid at the Township Office (July 1 - February 28), placed in the drop box located adjacent to the entrance, mailed to the Township at P.O. Box 505, Pentwater, MI 49449, or paid online (available July 1st-February 28th) at Auto Agent.
*Failure to receive your tax bill does not change your responsibility to pay the taxes on time. If you are not receiving your tax bills, please contact the Treasurer's office. We will be glad to verify your mailing address, or answer other questions you may have.
*Please update any changes to your mailing address and/or contact information with your payment.
